Join market-based hands-on cooking classes or food tours with Chef Kathy in the center of Aix-en-Provence. Classes are entertaining and educational. You will create typical dishes of the region. Classes are designed so any level of cooking enthusiast can learn how to easily recreate these dishes when you return from your vacation, keeping the memories of the day and Provence with you always. Want to learn about the markets and foods of Provence without the cooking part? We also offer market and food tours and a French cheese and wine workshop.
Choose from a variety of themes for your cooking class: A full-day class that includes a market tour and a lavish four-course meal, a half-day full-meal class where you’ll make a three-course Provencal meal, or a private half-day pastry-making workshop. For all classes, we use fresh, seasonal and local ingredients from the South of France and shopped that day at the market in Aix-en-Provence. All classes are in English.
We offer three types of food tours and workshops each week: Twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, during big market days in Aix-en-Provence, we offer a 3-hour Aix Market Day Tour. On Fridays, we offer a half-day Eating Provence food and market tour that ends with a seated wine and apero tasting around our dining table. Every Wednesday afternoon, we take you on a guided tasting of French cheeses and wines.
